The pictures shown on this page are the prototype that was made. It is made with 1/2" copper tubing and soldered fittings. I have been using this same prototype since 1994. The production made Wheelbarrow Volume Increaser™ is made with 3/4" heavy gauge steel tubing and welded joints.  Typical load of grass clippings. Put in any more and the load will spill over the sides.  Attaching the Wheelbarrow Volume Increaser to your wheelbarrow will allow you to increase your volume carrying capacity by 3 or 4 times.  The front gates open for easy dumping.  Strong enough for this kind of load. *  Holds extra large loads with the gates open.* * WARNING-CAUTION This type of load is very top heavy and will have an inherent tendancy to tip over when being moved or loaded. Extreme care should be taken to avoid any injury that could be caused by overloading the Increaser. |
